Review by hotel critic
Nestled a short seven-minute walk from Bologna metro station, this charming B&B presents a thoughtful blend of comfort and accessibility for travelers. The spacious room was equipped with essentials such as air conditioning and a convenient folding desk, catering well to those who appreciate functional design. Though the bed lacked the level of comfort one might hope for, the immaculate cleanliness and a well-maintained private bathroom ensured an overall pleasant experience. The property boasts a lovely garden, perfect for quiet reflection, though occasional mosquitoes can be a nuisance-do pack some insect repellent. The nearby market provided a practical option for self-catering, allowing us to enjoy a simple dinner without the need to dine out. Given that the metro system is just a stone's throw away, we found it easy to explore Rome, making it a strategic choice for those keen on value without compromising on essential amenities, such as free Wi-Fi. While the host is commendably attentive, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process, my advice for potential guests would be to weigh the reasonable pricing against the limited luxuries offered. This B&B serves as a testament to what contemporary Italian hospitality can provide in terms of practicality and investment in experience.
